@leahstanek Ugh I understand how you feel, I'm not doing well either. At the beginning I was ok, but seeing how sick some people have gotten and having relatives of friends pass away from it really brings it all into perspective. I miss my family and friends.
@Shelly6960 Oh wow I'm so sorry! I can't imagine going without meds through all of this. You must be so strong! And being a mom on top of it all! Stay safe!

@Shirljones1964 Yeeah! That's awesome! You must be so happy
And @leahstanek I just saw your previsous message, I hope you're feeling better. We all have to learn how to live a very strange life with this lockdown but remember it is just temporary and you are not alone. Did you find some peaceful activity? Painting, writing, cooking, gardening or doing some yoga? Did you watch the "show" Some Good News created by the actor John Krasinski? It is so pure, it may help you

Hi @nomorenomore...thanks for your note. I appreciate it! I know that I am not alone in this isolation. I do have close friends that I can call. Now we have all this unrest. I live in St. Paul. There has been looting, rioting and burning of buildings and care because of the death of the black man because of the cop. It is just terrible. I had my windows open yesterday and I heard sirens all day yesterday. All it would have taken would have been for the policeman to have a moment of human compassion and none of this would be going on.

@Iloveebony : I’m a type two diabetic myself. I’m told that people who have things like diabetes, arthritis etc. that we are high risk & with your number being that high is rather risky.I’ve been staying in myself, not going out less I have to.

Hi everyone,
How are you today?
How are you managing your diabetes now? Is it more complicated this time of year? Have you returned to a "normal life" after these few months of lockdown?
Feel free to share! We are here to help each other!
Take care,

Hello everyone,
Since the Coronavirus pandemic concerns many Americans (and Carenity members too), I've created this discussion to allow you to talk specifically about the virus in the context of Type 2 diabetes, as we all know that people with underlying health conditions can be more affected.
Are you worried about the coronavirus? Have you received any special instructions from your doctor regarding your care? Are you going to limit your travel? Do you have any advice for others?
Take care,
Courtney
