For many, this site allows people to realize they are not as bad off as they could be. Others need a place to vent. I am grateful that this site exists and it's FREE. I suspect the managers will be going in the other direction. There are many articles that might help you deal with whatever you are going through. If you can't get help there, just post what you are going through and you may at least find someone else that is going through the same thing.

I feel like the most inept person around. I was fired so many times, I think I’m stupid and a failure. I used to think I was a force to be reckoned with. I’ve fallen so far from there. I feel like I’m just stupid.

@Mildred don't give up on yourself ! I went through the same thing and I had to humble myself, it wasn't easy when you have a very different mindset on what you think you are? Do be Frank about it I just had to realize that I'm getting older and to tell you the truth people now days could give a Rat's ass about you and what you think of yourself. You just have to put yourself 1st otherwise you're no good for anyone else. I learned that when you're treating people with respect and how you like to be treated life is a little easier. But Never! Expect people to treat you good just because you're treating them with respect. If you do think that way you're setting yourself up for a Big let down

@Mildred I've gotten fired from just about all of my jobs also. I have a ten points about average I.Q. but that doesn't seem to help. I always either rub people the wrong way or end up in the wrong kind of job.

It's so hard living a lie. I cant tell anyone how I feel because they dont understand. The only reason I'm still here alive is for them. Why cant they understand how hard it is to keep living?

@jam8500 please please please don't end it. My daughter committed suicide in 2012 and I'm still messed up.so bad over it. I know life is hard, mine is sooo messed up right now, but I'm worried about you. Think of how it will affect others first. Do u have any family? Brother or sister that it would damage if you let go? Let's talk.

@KokoValRey you need to talk about everything to someone in my opinion. Have you tried psychiatrist? It took me 4yrs but I finally found the right one. The only thing keeping me sane is my medication. Otherwise I wouldn't be here. Just food for thought. Let's talk if you want to

@Michelle have you told a doctor this? I'm on medication too. Only thing keeping me here I think. After the suicide of my daughter. I feel you might need a medication change. I changed mine 5 times before I found the right combination. It takes time. But you have to let a doctor know how you're feeling, please.
