The normal wake-sleep cycle of the human body is quite fragile. Since most shift workers have trouble sleeping due to issues with their internal body clocks (SWSD).

Even while a person is unconscious, vital signs can be monitored.

If you are having trouble falling or staying asleep, it is best to consult a medical professional. A lack of melatonin is often blamed, however this isn't always the case.

If you are having trouble staying awake, adults in the US can take 150 milligrams of a stimulant. Common options include Waklert 150 and Artvigil 150. (mg). Once business begins, operations are crucial to its continued success so it's best shift workers don't fall asleep on the job.

Hi @KishtiRoy

Thanks for sharing. This is an interesting topic. I know many people who are shift workers, but I don't think any of them take stimulants to stay awake.

I wonder, if anyone else takes stimulants like these throughout the day. I'll tag few members to see.

Do you or have you ever taken sleep aids or stimulants? Which ones? What was your experience like?

Take care,

Lizzi
