I'm looking forward to suggestions and tips since I have never travelled with my CPAP machine.

We travel a lot mostly in our RV now that we are retired I protect my ASV machine like it’s my wallet! Only had one incident in all our year of travel I forgot to pack the power cord the section that goes from the wall plug in and the power pack it was a 4th of July long weekend once the panic subsided I realized all I needed was a way to plug it into the wall ran to Walmart bought a lamp cord put two flat blade electrical connections on the bare wires which slide right onto the power pack problem solved.. since stay at RV parks for weeks at a time if I have a unexpected issue I just order online no prescription needed and it’s in my hands overnight usually but I do carry extra hoses masks and a spare water reservoir I had one reservoir start leaking around the metal plate on the bottom when we travel on airline I always carry it on the plane it’s considered a medical device and does not count against your baggage allotment I also put all my medications in the with my ASV machine I never let it out of my sight EVER I have only been on the ASV a couple years so I put my old cpap in the RV as a backup if you ever have an issue don’t panic there is always a way and Amazon is your friend for overnight needs..

Hi everyone, how have you been lately?
If you rely on a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, traveling can bring up a lot of extra planning and questions. Whether it’s flying, driving, or staying in a new place, there’s always that little worry in the back of your mind: Will I be able to sleep well while I’m away? Will my machine work? What if something gets lost or damaged?
Good news: traveling with CPAP is possible and often easier than we expect, especially with a bit of preparation. Things like bringing an insulated case, packing spare supplies, knowing your airline’s CPAP policy, or carrying a backup battery can all make a big difference.
📌 Here are a few tips:
How do you handle traveling with your CPAP machine? Do you have a routine or checklist?
What have been your biggest challenges: airport security, hotel rooms, or staying comfortable on flights?
Is there a travel tip or must-have item you always recommend to other CPAP users?
