I also have an enlarged spleen and I dont think there is anything that can be done about it, because it helps filter your blood that your liver cannot . That was my understanding from what I was told

I just found out my spleen is enlarged in addition to my liver from NAFLD. . . the doctor made it seem like this was common, but did not really give me any explanation, prognosis, or treatment.
Does anyone else have an enlarged spleen? What are the effects? What can be done?
Please help... I am lost.
