Have you ever experienced digestive or intestinal issues throughout your experience with fatty liver or NASH? How did you cope with it? Are there any helpful medications?

Hi all, I hope you're all doing ok. I have a question about something I've been dealing with and I'm curious to know if anyone else has been through this.
Since my diagnosis I've been working hard on my diet, I've cut out fats and salt and I don't drink soda any more. I've lost some weight because of it.
I'm still having a lot of pain in my side and not to go into too much detail, but using the bathroom has become very painful. I'm thinking that it's time to see my gastroenterologist, but the last time she told me to come back when my condition is "worse"? I'm not sure she understands fatty liver and NASH at all...
But anyway, has anyone else been through this? Are intestinal issues common with NASH? I haven't really been able to find anything on the internet about it.
