• Some trials focus on specific stages (like fibrosis, cirrhosis, or NAFLD without inflammation), while others target treatments involving medications or interventions.
• Be aware that eligibility criteria can be strict, often requiring a confirmed diagnosis via liver biopsy, which can limit access, one study found only around 14% of eligible NASH patients met the strict inclusion criteria.
