Hello Carenity Members,

I have seen in thedepression forums that there are many posts about people needing someone to talk to/listen to and feeling of overwhelemed with life or facing depression for various reason

I have created this discussion group and PINNED it so that it will remain at the top for people to do several things:

1) Those needing someone to talk to, can briefly state what they are struggling with - their situation - and that they would like to talk with someone.

2) Those who would like to listen/talk to someone else, can then private message that user directly and begin a conversation.

3) Those who have either overcome their depression to an extent or just really want to help and listen can also comment and say just that - basically offering themselves to be contacted.

I hope this helps open the communication and organize the forum as well. I think peer support is essential, especialy when in our own lives, perhaps we feel blocked out.

As always, there is the general forum for any and all other discussions.

I have been tbere before and still am. I had a hard time in school I was in all special classes and my teachers would lose tbere patients so eventually they all passes me. Not recommended. I suffer from bipolar depression anexity and ptss. I moved away from everything I have been with hi. For 6 years he's got 3 kids his x wife won't divorce him. I think he cheated on me I know he did and try covering up. But I know the truth. I really have no one to talk to except my therapist and psychiatrist. No friends it's really hard sometimes but I push myself everyday. Thanks for listening

This is a bad year for me. I’m just done. I want to end things & not have to deal with anything anymore. The only thing keeping me alive is my son. His dad killed himself/had a car accident 2 years ago. I don’t want him to go through that again. I’m just sick of everything negative happening to me from medically, financially & everything else in between. I have no luck at all. I’m sitting at home now in my chair, crying. I no longer have any friends. Things with my boyfriend are a joke. Haven’t seen him in over 4 months. I’m ready to call in to work, but I know I’ll lose my job.

Hello everyone; I joined because I’ve discovered my boyfriend has been texting women inappropriately and had an affair involving three people. I feel really violated because we were still intimate and he never told me. It was months ago and i threw up and cried and I just wanted to stop feeling anything , I really need support
