@Michelle absolutely feel the same way. Been on meds for almost 30 years. When I keep moving seems to help. I was really suicidal for this past year. I actually found some meds that helped. I dunno the answers to anything just that I feel the same.

@Michelle yea they put me on lithium and doxepin and I was already on clonodine. I was in the hospital for a couple months when I was in manic state but now I have a full-time job and I can take care of myself. I'm high functioning bipolar with severe depression and anxiety. I was diagnosed when I was 10 I'm now 38. I'm extremely high functioning at times so when I talk about this with people they don't understand because of how I carry myself. So it's hard to have people I can talk to that understands. And sometimes I get discouraged because I feel I'll never get better. But I just keep on trucking and showing up to life. I hope you feel better today.

I feel like I'm dying. Totally and completely just overwhelmed with sadness, I just don't want to be alive. I have 4 kids and I couldn't ever abandon them but right this moment I just don't want to exist. I can't handle life. I live in a state of fear, discomfort, sadness, feeling alone, broken and like no one cares or notices how unhappy I am. I feel like I give my whole heart to everyone and that I am trying every day to give my family a life that they'll remember in a good light. But I fail everyday to make them happy. I feel like a lover. Like a joke. Like I don't matter at all. Idk what to do, I have feelings of wanting to hurt myself but know how stupid that would make me look and know the damage that would do to my kids but idk what to do.

Hang in there everyone!! I know It hasn't been easy if you’re experiencing depression but I know that it will get easier again. It always does. I pray for all. You all are beautiful. You all are enough. Simply because life is worth living no matter what, that’s what I believe. Be strong

@SierraLS9 I can completely relate to you. Meds help a lot helps take the edge off. Makes things not seem so intense. Took me awhile to find the right medicine. Do stuff for yourself too. I know if I'm struggling with that then I'm struggling taking care of my son. Remember this is only temporary.

I would like to buy everyone a coffee at a local place to sit and talk.
Depression sucks! But we can do this. Hang in there everyone.

i feeling very blue. My mother’s condition has gotten worse. She wanted to move back to her homeland for her final days and she wanted me to come with her. However we still have unfinished work here and many of my siblings been helping care for her. I really really want to do what she wishes but also most importantly what’s best for her. I love her so much that I can die for her without hesitation, but I fear that I won’t be able to do a job taking care of her by myself in a strange land. What about medical care for her?? Her medical supplies? Necessities and types of food? So part of me is very happy and excited for her because she worked so hard her entire life for her children and given so much to charities. She’s never lived a day for herself, this is what she wants now so she deserves it. But part of me is very afraid that I can’t handle the situation by myself. I’m already a wreck with stressed and depression. How Am I able to do this alone without my family members? We’re gonna have help from relatives and friends but it’s different
Anyway, I just have to get this out of my chest. A lot of times I feel like I can’t even breath. I understand this is a fact of life but the pain is excruciating

My depression has worsened. I have not had a good night's sleep in weeks. I am moving to a new place in two weeks. My condition in my right leg is serious and fighting with my insurance to help pay.

This forum is incredibly helpful. To combat depression, simply schedule a session with a therapist. If the medicine isn't working, consider spravato treatment.
