This forum is incredibly helpful. To combat depression, simply schedule a session with a therapist. If the medicine isn't working, consider spravato treatment.

You need to reach out. It's never as bad as we feel. Music helps me. Just play something you enjoy hearing. Maybe dance a little. Can't be sad while your dancing...lol

I have a hard time talking about my depression with other people who don't have depression. They just can't understand me or what I'm feeling and sometimes it just makes me feel even more alone. Does anyone else feel like that sometimes?

@kjblue1952 have also been through all those treatments including 23 shock treatments. Not effective still trying to live with depression.

I'm new here and looking for don't guidance in the right direction. I haven't been to mental health in years and I'm almost certain I might lose it if I don't reach out. My relationship is taking a major toll on me and I am simply not who I am or doing what I'm capable of doing that is going to benefit me in a healthy positive way.

Hi. I have major seasonal depression. I can relate. This is my bad time of year. Also exhausted from sleep apnea. Just running on fumes. Am on call at work. Worked today but should be off rest of week. Gotta get allergy shots probably tomorrow. And pay rent. Plus had to print out paystubs for annual recertification. I feel overwhelmed like everyone else. Just be safe & don't overdo anything. Moderation is key.

Hello. My name is Ivonne. I have severe depression, don't know if anyone can relate to my situation. My father died from cancer six months ago and my mother is also diagnosed with 2nd stage of cancer. I haven't gotten over mourning my father's death yet trying to deal with my mother's cancer. There are days that I feel like I should be dead or I'd rather off dead. I look fine on the outside but in turmoil from the inside. The only reason why I'm still here is because I just can't leave my mother to fend for herself. She depends on me so much. So I've made of my mind to give all I got, more than 100%, to care for her until her very last day. Life is full of suffering. I wish I had never been born...
