Good advisor
Thank you for this discussion. I have take full spectrum CBD in morning & afternoon & CBD/THC at night and for me, the results are very good. The pain is greatly reduced and I actually feel pretty alert. The THC in the afternoon gives me a little bit more calming effect. I vape it and use the oil sparingly for nerve pain.
I have heard / read briefly that there is a high dose of THC that is potentially curative, but I do not take it for that reason yet... may be looking into it further, but the research is scant.

I recently started cbd time released pills. I’m also starting oral chemo for my MBC. I’m afraid due to living alone. Good or bad it’s not like I have a choice.

@Mollymack what strength are your cbd pills? I am doing 250 mg vape pen, but I do not much feel anything as for as help with it in pain.

@missshe Hi I just started at 10mg. Time released. I agree not really doing much now. They told me to gradually increase the dosage.

What dosage did they recommend? This is prescribed CBD?
Do you know which brand because a lot of brands can vary in actual potency, from what I have learned.

@whatistheissue yes it’s a script. I’m not home a the moment I will look at the label. Thanks for response.

I have been using cannibus for a while now. It helps me to eat and definitely helps me with pain. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and in 2017 it had metastasized to my bones.

@Mollymack what brand is it that you are taking... I would be interested in knowing. I had used rub on CBD, but had minimal benefit.
Has any of you only tried CBD and can you compare its effects vs cannabis (CBD+THC)? @Cgaines02 @whatistheissue @missshe

medicinal marijuana is not legal in my state but i did try it while visiting CO once, it didn't seem to help other than to help my appetite, but it was only once so not sure. So far i am taking 10 mg of CBD and that has been helpful in at least tolerating the pain.

i recently tried a differed brand of CBD pills which i feel did make a difference for me. i watched a documentary or read an article, can't quite recall but i remember them saying sometimes it is the brand of product that can make the difference so i tried a few others and finally found one i feel does something to help me tolerate the pain.

Hello all,
In a recent article Olivia Newton John, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer for the third time (breast cancer), discussed her use of marijuana and other natural remedies to combat the symptoms of cancer, such as pain.
Have you ever tried or have any experience with the use of marijuana or CBD alone for use of cancer pain? Any benefits?
Did you use oil, vape, edibles?
I think this will be a great discussion where others can gain insight from others' experiences, especially since marijuana is not legal in all states at this time.
