Does anyone else have anxiety so bad that it is making them ill.? I'm a senior citizen. things have gotten so out of hand at home with my family that I always feel like I'm not good enough or doing something wrong. I feel like my one daughter has thrown me in the garbage. We always had been so close and now I never hear from her. Theres a gnawing in the chest. Cardio guy says I'm ok. But I'm always just so scared and worried!

I do feel like everyone is against me I want to defend myself so I get pissed at things easy I want to take myself somewhere where I can just scream an let it all out. I find reading an listening to music tends to help calm myself down my thoughts .

I suffer from anxiety and depression also. I'm recently retired and also recently divorced. I start to try and cheer myself by reading, crafts, and tv but then I get nasty texts from my ex and start all over again being scared and depressed. I'm nervous today mostly because I am having tests to make sure my cancer isn't back. Will be so relieved when the test is over and very relieved if I here I am still cancer free. Hope it is soon because I am a constant worrier. Thanks for letting me share in this group.

Does anyone ever feel like they can’t speak. The words won’t come out and you just overthink every little part of the sentence so it doesn’t come out wrong

I do. If you mean that you physically cant speak. The words are in my head but I just cant form them to come out of my mouth. No one really listens to me anyhow. I can be with people and they all just talk over me.

I also have anxiety and depression! Last year I found myself forgetting words! I knew what it was I was trying to say but I couldn't get the word out! I would have to reword the sentence to get what I wanted to say out!

I have done a lot of research on having crohns on top of anxiety and depression. I have found that those who suffer tend to have memory lose. Also I read that it is a form of anxiety attack. This has happened more time then I like! I hope.this helps.

I really hope your testing does well for you. It is hard being older and going through all this stuff. I am so stressed out with my family sometimes I dont think I can handle much more.

Thank you Maggy610! My test results were great! I was so relieved and happy! Hope your stress with family eases and works itself out for you. I feel so lucky. Since I moved into my new rental house I feel lonely at times. My little dog is a lot of company and comfort. She was depressed for awhile because she had lived in our house with the fenced in back yard since a puppy. This new house has no grass yet and she just has a small pen now to go outside. Sorry, this is rambling and you don't need to hear it all. I am just happy to meet a friend on here. Thanks again!

Hi, yes my anxiety is to the point that I am paralyzed. I go nowhere. I am so afraid that I will stop breathing. My emotions are all over the place and I don’t have anyone that truly understands. I am so sad and lonely. 😐😐

I never seem to stop talking. I feel like I annoy people. So I talk to myself a whole lot. What hurts is when I'm talking to someone and I can tell that they don't care about what I'm saying or interrupt me and start talking about a totally different subject. That makes me feel like I'm worthless in their opinion.
