How are you today? I thought I would open this discussion to introduce a new activity to help us talk about our mental health!

It's called Thorn, Rose, Bud:
First, tell us about your thorn: What has been a challenge you've faced in your mental health journey? What isn't working well for you in managing your condition?
Next, tell us about your rose: What has been a success for you in managing your mental health? Is it a medicine, a therapist, a technique or other treatment?
And finally, tell us about your bud: What are you hopeful about in your mental health journey? Is there an opportunity or something you see potential in for your condition?
Feel free to share here!

This is about my moods... I am a well-adjusted individual who has a few things to still work on in therapy... I am 53 years old now... I started my recovery process at 24 years old...I am still a work-in-progress, I think? I am not so hard on myself of late, though...That's a very good thing for me to put a handle on...I still have an anger issue... I am easily turned off by maladjustments to my frame of mind on certain issues in my life... I need to be more patient with that, though... I am afraid to say... Although, I've come a long way over the years, I still have to adjust to certain aspects of my life...For that I am grateful...

My thorn is feeling like I'm disappointing my loved ones. My rose is that since I began taking Cymbalta I don't have uncontrollable rage. My bud is that I am calling therapist tomorrow to help me face things that happened to me in my childhood.
