Anyone else struggling with if you should or shouldn’t tell someone that it’s back and terminal?

Good advisor

@NancyH Hey Nancy. This message just breaks my heart. I'm sorry about your situation and I imagine you must be feeling so alone. Have you decided to tell anyone?

Carrie

@sara_at32‍   I’ve told a select group but there is a particular person( my mother) who is very set in victim mentality who I’m struggling to feel confident telling.   My perspective on this is diagnosis is all positive but her vibration is one that compels me  to defend my self and my beliefs. I just don’t want to have anything to do with any negative infiltrating into my thoughts.

I understand how you feel. It's certain people in my family that I had a hard time telling. I'm so sorry that you are going through that.

Good advisor

@NancyH I understand. Maybe it's best to not tell her for now. Either way, she'll suffer, but at least that way she can enjoy more time with you if she doesn't know.
