I have just been prescribed Mayzent by Novartis, but am having a heck of a time getting on the Assistance Program (presumably because I am on a Medicare Advantage Plan). Does anyone have any experience with this drug regarding RRMS or SPMS (which I am currently diagnosed with)?

@TheMSDad what is the assistance program?
I am sorry. I do not have any information on that drug... I did a google search and hope it works for you since it seems promising for SPMS.

@msslady The Novartis Patient Assistance Program. Notoriously difficult to navigate, especially if you have a federally funded insurance program.

@TheMSDad - OK; I thought maybe you were talking about the financial assistance with Medicare. I did read up on the medication and one of the links said the annual price was around $86,000, which is crazy expensive - think of how much profit that is/mark up.

@TheMSDad Any update? How has the prescription worked for you?
