@Bigkenny Yeah, it seems like vision problems are a common symptom! I had blurred vision and problems with my legs. Any time I'd go to walk anywhere they'd collapse under me! I also had some numbness in my hands and feet. Have you had any other symptoms too?

Not yet butt am sure they are coming

I woke up with my right hand asleep I thought I had just slept wrong or maybe a pinched nerve went to chiropractor got massages nothing helped to wake up my hand I was diagnosed a little over three years ago at 53 my hand still is asleep and tingles very annoying had a lot of spasms went to see my primary she sent me for MRI and discovered I had 10 Lessions on brain and 16 down my spine I was diagnosed immediately with Primary progressive MS Ocrevus had just came out and they started my treatments immediately it was hard to accept but my son and his wife and my two Grandsons have been very supportive and I keep going for them I want to watch them grow up. Even though I'm in pain all the time and tired always I won't give up.

It first started with a migraine that would not go away, in October 2014. Went to my PCP who did a neuro check, he asked if I had noticed a weakness on my left side. When I said no he said he wanted to refer me to a neurologist because he thought I had MS. That following August I was given the diagnosis of MS. And here we are today.

Hang in there. We are all in this together, for better or for worse. It is a horrible feeling some times.

I got a strange sensation in my right arm and then I lost the entire right side of my body. The ER thought I was having strokes and I was admitted to the hospital 3 times within a couple months. Eventually they set up an appointment for an MRI, they couldn't do it at the hospital because I was too large. And that's how I found out. took a while and I was scared because I didn't know what was going on.

It's difficult to pinpoint the first symptom because I suffered with MS for years with no diagnosis. I had hypothyroidism so i always thought it was the thyroid acting up. Then the tests would come back negative. Most doctors blew me off as a hypochondriac. In 2018 I had a problem reading out loud at church. I reported the issue to my NP-C. She ordered an MRI. The first neurologist blew me off so I asked for a second opinion and found my doctor who is the only MS specialist in my area unless I want to travel 80 miles to Atlanta. He immediately picked up on potential MS. After the appropriate testing, the diagnosis came back with a positive MS diagnosis on February 19, 2019 right before COVID lock down. My doctor continued to treat me through the lock down. I was 68 years old and it was 2 days after my first wedding anniversary. I was relieved to know I wasn't crazy or a hypochondriac, yet I was scared. Now I'm heading for my 3rd anniversary of my diagnosis and am on Tysabri infusions and other meds and vitamins. The MS is speeding up but then again I am 71 years old. How I manged to get through a career in television is beyond me. I guess through sheer grit and determination. I was always so fatigued after each shift. Now I know why. My housework suffered but I managed to raise a daughter by myself and she is an amazing person. Keep plugging away even if you need help with housework or anything else. I don't understand how I did it and I'm not doing as well now but I put on my leg braces and eat my meds and keep going. Do I relapse? You betcha!

Hello everyone,
Multiple Sclerosis brings a whole host of symptoms that many patients endure before being diagnosed. Some of the most common symptoms are double vision, bladder issues, pain and spasms...unfortunately, the list goes on.
What Multiple Sclerosis symptoms did you first experience? How did you manage the symptoms?
