did anyone have any allergic reaction to carboplatin? If so how long will they keep me on it before switching it to something else. I’ve had 2 reactions and the drs keep upping my steroids. Any information or advice?

I have never been on this medication, but reactions and negative side-effects are common to many cancer treatments.
It is possible that the adverse affects you are experiencing are outweighed by the possible benefits... have you spoken to your doctor about this?
I would always recommend seeking a second, and even a third opinion when you feel uncomfortable with decisions the medical team is making.

@Hidden username Yes I nausea and vomiting, but from what I have seen, it seems those side effects are almost guaranteed with chemo and the medications. How are you doing now?
