The second I step out of my house, (or maybe when I leave my bed), I shut off emotionally. I can't feel anything, (besides really anxious... i think), I can't talk normally, I'm socially-awkward, and I have social-anxiety. Nobody understands me. My therapist thinks I'm just naturally socially-awkward. She doesnt know the real me. Nobody does. I just want all of this shit to end. I don't care how... if I do go to hell for killing myself, I know hell is a lot better than hell on earth!!!

Hello,
Let's try to keep this discussion focused on recommendations anyone has for those dealing with morning anxiety. Other general or personal posts outside of this topic would be best created either in a new topic or joining an ongoing discussion on similar or related topic.
Thank you.

Hello,
When I have morning anxiety what seems to help me is either take a deep breath and do some exercise in the morning (working out or running) or if I do not have time for that, I find that putting in an uplifting song before I take on the day seems to help a lot.
Hope this helps.

I just take 1 minute at a time and keep moving. It definitely helps to have an active schedule. Often gets better when out of the house! Morning showers help with anxiety and depression!

Often before getting out of bed I have to do some 4X4 breathing and a simple grounding exercise with the five senses to self soothe and be able to face the rigors of the day. If I start feeling overwhelmed during the day, I go back to those basics: deep breathing and grounding. I recognize I am most anxious when thinking of the past or the future (which are out of my control) so I concentrate on being in the present and doing the best I can with what I’ve got right now.

I try to get up real early, sip coffee and put on meditation from YouTube. I know what you mean, instant am head spins, omg I'm gonna be late, so much to do today. It's a whirlwind but rising earlier has helped me
