Hi everyone,
Living with psoriasis brings enough challenges, planning a family adds a whole new layer.
A recent survey of people with psoriasis showed that many had concerns about fertility, heredity, pregnancy, and medication safety, but didn’t always feel fully informed or supported. Only 8% felt they had all the information they needed about family planning.
Most said they wanted clear guidance from their dermatologist or GP, especially at key moments like diagnosis or when medications change. Women often had extra questions about how pregnancy or breastfeeding might affect their condition, and men wanted to understand their role too.
💬 Let’s talk about it:
Whether you’re thinking about the future or have already walked this path, your experience matters, and could help someone else feel less alone.
Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
