Community managerHi @JanetCon
I hope you are doing well. I am sorry to hear about the struggles your family member is having with Type 2 diabetes. It's wonderful that you are able to offer support, even though he may not yet be fully comfortable discussing it with you. All you can do is continue to be there for him and support where you can, one day he may really rely on you.
As far as reversal of his type 2 diabetes, I will tag a few other members who may be able to share their experiences with Type 2 diabetes with you.

What have you done to control your Type 2 diabetes? Do you drink alcohol? If so, how much? Who do you lean on for support? What can a loved one do to help you manage your diabetes? What other experiences with your Type 2 diabetes can you share?
Thanks everyone, Take care,
Lizzi

I have a family member that has type 2 diabetes and has 1 toe amputee and another half amputed. He does not like to discuss with me . Can he reverse his type 2 diabetes . Will this progress even though he monitors his blood sugar levels and takes insulin shots . Also how much wine should he. Be consuming . His weight is very good
