Hello out there, I've been experiencing some serious, constant and ongoing severe anxiety and bipolar depression that has progressively been getting worse, for the past number of years. I've been a patient for over 30 years, trying almost every medication in the book, and currently am taking only anxiety medication in high dosages that don't seem to no longer work, since nothing I try for depression or bipolar no longer works. My doctors have no solutions for me. I am currently almost through with trying Ketamine infusion treatments, while experiencing minimal relief that comes and goes without lasting for long. I know there is rTMS, but it's really expensive while it may not even be effective. And ECT is a scary option. I've already tried all types of natural supplements, including detox programs, gut health protocols and parasite cleanses. I am currently 52 years old, and wonder if this is the end of the line for me. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have on what options I may still have left to become stable and functional. Therapy, nutrition, exercise, meditation are all good, but I think I need the right medicine to survive. Thank you so much for your help.

@Farzad430

I personally have not been through ECT but I know someone who was also at the end of the rope and it did help them. I am so sorry you have not had any response to anything. I know it has also taken me a long time. I have gone through cycles and periods of times where things have worked and then I had to change everything. I have to keep to a very strict schedule which my bipolar being does not like and I cannot say I always stick to but I do suffer. Such as same sleep and wake time, meal times, bed times, walking, meditating, talking with at least someone, therapy, meds same time a day to say a few. Hang in there my thoughts are with you.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately it's a never ending struggle, and a very lonely one, since no one seems to understand you. Keep up the fight. Wishing you the best of success.

Hi, with my other medications I take Vyvanse. It’s used for me as an atypical antidepressant. I struggle with bipolar depression as well.

@Butterflymama

I believe that medication made me manic. Everyone is different. I have found a balance but still have to push so hard everyday and try to reach out of others, that is why a response from me took so long. Hope all is well
