So, I just got out of inpatient care, I was doing really well there in the safety of the hospital bubble but now that I'm out it's not the same. like I feel like I'm slipping again and it's only been two days. I don't know if it's just me readjusting or the lack of structure or both or neither or what but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Hi everyone, how are you today? Have any of you been through an inpatient program for your mental health? Did you have a hard time adjusting after the program was over? Can you share any experiences or advice?

I know you didn't mean it to be funny and I hope not too much of it went out.

@castledepress Oops! Good catch! Thank you, I must have typed that too fast!

@Courtney_J No problem, looks like a typical case of pandemic speed typing brought on by too much multitasking.

@terryar Hey, I've done a few inpatient treatment programs and yeah, I felt the same way. For me I felt really good in treatment too because you're supported and given all the tools and techniques to get to a good place, and then it's almost like they rip the rug out from under you when you leave and you're on your own. What helped me some was started a new journal where I tried to write down how I was feeling and check in with myself and remember what I'd learned. Stay strong, you'll get through this!
