I'm living with severe ocd and I can't keep my house clean I live with my husband and mom and they both could care less about the cleanliness of the house. I get so angry over everything. I'm violent also. I just want to be happy again but I never will bc my child were taken and adopted I'm feeling very hopeless

@Colwelltrish Hello Colwelltrish, thank you for starting this discussion. I'm sorry you're going through that, the anger and frustration that comes with OCD can be very hard to manage. Let me tag some members who can maybe share their experience and advice with you.
Hello everyone I hope you're doing well! Have you ever experience frustration, anger, or even rage with your OCD? What do you do you manage it? Do you have any coping techniques or exercises to recommend? What has your experience been with your OCD? Feel free to share here!

@Colwelltrish Hey Trish, I'm so sorry you're dealing with that! I have OCD too and I can understand the anger. People who don't have it don't get it and sometimes it seems like they do everything they can to mess things up for you. Have you had a talk with them about your OCD and what you need from them to help you with it?
