I had testosterone replacement I was on the low end in my 40’s. The replacement therapy worked well, however, I was diagnosed with PCa at 53.
coincidence? I’m not sure.
See a good urologist for guidance is my suggestion.

@Raymond - this is interesting. I joined this site because my father has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. However, your response just caught my eye. I am 41 and have actually begun testosterone replacement therapy because my testosterone was below 200!
Is their correlation with prostate cancer and testosterone replacement therapy? The doctor (doctor at a hormone therapy clinic) was telling me it is safe because I was so low that they will just be getting me back to what normal is, nothing beyond that.

My PC was the one who was hesitant to give me the replacement. Mine was a little bit higher than yours but not much. He referred his hesitancy to a doctor who had wrote an opinion paper saying there was a direct correlation of testosterone replacement and prostate cancer. I elected to do the replacement anyway.
My urologist on the other hand, when I asked him if the replacement had caused my PCa, stated that the opinion paper I was referring to was written by one doctor who had no scientific facts to back his opinion. My urologist said that the replacement probably did not cause my PCa.
I believe that it was just a coincidence that I was diagnosed PCa after a couple years of doing the replacement. PCa feeds off testosterone; did it hurt me? I have no idea, there is no way to determine that.

Does anyone here suffer with any low testosterone?
I recently tested lower than normal for my age, by what seems to be a pretty significant amount. Doctor says testoterone therapy will help me feel better and give me more energy and stamina (also help with weight loss long term)... has anyone had any experience? any thoughts or advice for those who has a history of prostate cancer?
