Early bird, started that as a teen living in Southern California, back then up about 4:30-5 to check the wave reports, if good go surfing before school.
worked early shifts in military and after,
now retired, still a habit, in bed around 9 up about 7-8 hours later so yes still an early bird

i am a total morning early bird, wake up no
later than 6;00 am, go to bed at 10;00, if I wake up at 8:00 that usually means I am sick

Early bird, I am. Wide awake between 4-4:30. Can’t sleep so I get up and make coffee. Go to bed around 9-9:30. Been that way for years. Worked the night shift at the hospital for 10+ years. Habits are hard to break.

I'm more a night owl. Although I go to bed at 10:30. I wake up around 1:00 if not later. So I'm definitely not a morning person.

I would consider myself a night owl for 12 years I worked at Walmart stocking shelves from 10 to 7 it was third shift so I stayed up all night and slept during the day I do that sometimes and miss appointments it's struggle from day to day but differently a night owl

Definitely an early bird. It’s changed over time, especially after being diagnosed with MS. I have a sleep routine that needs to be followed to get the amount of time needed to feel fully rested.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
Though we can't hear it tick, our body has its own internal clock - the circadian rhythm. Our personal circadian rhythms, or "chronotypes" vary from person to person but may also run in families. The two main chronotypes are what we commonly refer to as "early birds", those who tend to go to bed and wake up early, and "night owls", those who tend stay up and wake up late.
If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to read our article: Can waking up early benefit our health?
What about you? Are you more of an early bird or a night owl? Has that changed as you've aged? Would like to be one more than the other? Have you ever tried to change your sleep cycle?
