One of the key ways for management of obesity is a healthy diet. There are many specific diets that are followed by some with obesity, such as the Weight Watchers Diet and the Flexitarian Diet.
However, one does not need to follow a specific diet... just healthy eating while monitoring caloric intake is what is beneficial.
What about you?

I am currently actually on Weight Watchers Diet so eating a calorie deficient diet and counting my points! I have just started because my Aunt had great results from it and I decided to actually start trying to take control of at least what I can!

@Lee__R I'm not sure if it has a name, but I'm doing a "whole diet". I try to eat more "whole" foods, like fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, etc. Basically I try to cook everything myself so I know what's going into the things I'm eating and I avoid processed foods or "diet" foods that often chock full of sugar or other chemicals. I eat several small meals throughout the day and try to avoid snacking. I'd be interested to hear what other people are trying, there are so many diets out there these days.

Right now I follow WW. I find that you need to follow a healthy eating plan and lifestyle to keep everything in line. You do not need to deprive yourself of your favorite foods, just need to adjust portions.
