Hi there... I've been in a serious flare for months now, and battling chronic fatigue for the last 8 weeks or so. It doesn't help that my gp had put me on stronger pain meds due to a really bad fall that I had, which also make me drowsy. I hate that feeling of needing to sleep now though - I've always called it " hitting the wall".
When I feel like I've hit the wall, I change what I'm doing, if I'm reading, I start to watch a film, I have a coffee or snack, I open the bedroom/ patio door for fresh air into the room (I'm bed bound at the moment - on crutches) I try and get around the bdroom for a walk to move/ walk, stand outside ( I'm lucky having access to garden straight from the bedroom) If he is home, my husband will make me a fruit smoothie, giving me a vitamin boost, making sure there is a banana and some oats in there in there. More often than not, these will only work for an hour or 2, and then I have to sleep, so I set an alarm for an hour, making sure that I still get a decent night's sleep. I know these coping mechanisms won't work for everyone, but they work for me.

Hi guys. I struggle with chronic fatigue regularly and I feel exhausted by it. Have you ever felt like that? What do you do to cope? Thanks.
