Hi everyone,

I do not know about you, but I get extreme fatigue often, and I have been told that Crohn's causes or increases one's fatigue.

Do you experience fatigue? If so do you have any recommendations or treatments?

I am currently taking melatonin, but I am wanting to know if anything else may help more. Thank you!

Have you ever looked into seeing if you are nutrient deficient? Particularly iron and vitamin D? Vitamin D has been associated with Crohn's disease in recent research and iron is commonly deficient in those with Crohn's... being nutrient deficient can have detrimental affects on those with Crohn's.

Also see about your B12, you may need to take some to help your levels.

I agree taking suppliments, especially vitamin B helps. Anyone have a favorite brand?

If you are b12 deficient and have had surgery you will need your b12 by injection  It can help perk you up.

I have sever Crohns. My entire large intestine and 1/2 my stomach was removed fire to adhesions. I was severely Vitamin D deficient. I felt extreme fatigue. I started taking Vitamin D Medical strength, I tried numerous brands. The brand that dramatically increased and improved my deficiency was from R+F . I was amazed with tremendous results. I take 1 capsule every week. Within 2 weeks my Vitamin D improved. My Gastro Doctor did labs and verified that I am now in the normal range, I have more energy and strength. My fatigue has improved. I’ll share where you can purchase R+F Medical strength Vitamin D. Here’s website to order R+F Vitamin D to help you. [link removed by Moderator for violating community standards]
