@Readybird19641! Proair is the generic form of albuterol do you should not need both. Unless one is an inhaler and one is a nebulizer? I am a respiratory therapist and an asthmatic.

Hi Juan. Yes they will say treat it as covid for now just to quarantine if any other symptoms arise. I was diagnosed with Covid and never caught a fever, minimal coughing due to having asthma. But the difference and what made them decide to test me was that, none of my treatments was working not even prednisone. I continued to go back to the doctor/hospital X-ray was always clear. But the very last time I went they decided to test me because I work in the hospital and it made no sense for me to keep going back to work if I did in fact have covid. But each time they would tell me treat it as covid and stay home

Good advisor
Hey,
I haven't been on in a while since I've been busy, but with this coronavirus epidemic I'm a bit worried. Since the virus is so hard on the respiratory system I'm worried that my inhalers (I'm on Albuterol and Qvar) are putting me at a greater risk. Do you think we should cut down our use of them? Especially the Qvar? I've heard that steroids really do a number on the immune system. Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?
Thanks.
