Upon going on Trelegy I noticed immediate improvement to my congestion and breathing. Over the past year the improvement has kept things stable.

Since getting on Trelegy my breathing is much better. It's nice to only have to do it once a day. I do have some new pains in my back but not sure because this is a side effect of this inhaler! This is only my 12th day on it. May just wait and see if it gets better or not!

Having been diagnosed with COPD/Emphysema for over 20+ years, I have been prescribed pretty much each and every maintenance drugs over the years and have not noticed any differences. I currently use Trelegy 200mcg plus nebulizers 2-3 times per day with Ipratropium and Levalbuterol (regular Albuterol nebulizer dramatically raises my heart rate).
Perhaps the Trelegy is working the best, combined with the nebulizer treatments. However, regarding the upper respiratory and nasal congestion that has been constant over the last few years, I don't see any relief from the Trelegy. Recently I have upgraded all of my HVAC and room air purifiers with upgraded Hepa filtration systems to eliminate more indoor pollutants, change the O2 concentrator Hepa filters monthly, and added the smaller in-line Hepa O2 filter to the cannulas in the bedroom and home office concentrators. I also use the saline nasal flush periodically along with the liquid Mucinex Fast-Max for Severe Congestion & Cough. The room air purifiers in the bedroom and living room are the small room units. The one in my home office where I spend most of my day is the large (and very expensive) IQAir unit with the multi stage filtration system, which includes the Hepa filters on the input and output sides as well as the carbon filtration stage to remove any chemical fumes. After upgrading all of my air purifying systems and taking two rounds of prescribed antibiotics Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium) the congestion has improved dramatically, but is still there, mostly in the mornings. I will be seeing my new Pulmonologist later this morning and he doesn't want me to take any more Antibiotics for a while. Also working on a new sleep study to replace my dead Apnea Bi-PAP machine and getting insurance approvals for my very necessary monthly Thoracentesis procedures for the chronic-recurring pleural effusions that have been plaguing me for the last 16 months.

I like Trelegy it seems better than Symbicort was for me! And only have to use it once a day it Wonderful. The price is hefty but it's so new and it's good so I understand!
