hi all, I’m new to this. I hope to meet friends in my condition to discuss status, fears and what’s coming.

@Rbeck1234 sorry to hear you going through this. I have been there and hope I can lend a hand to you. What was done for your prostate cancer? When were you diagnosed with bone cancer? What is your current status and treatment?
Hope to hear from you soon.

Not a good day. I have 4 metastatic bone cancer in my lower spine from prostrate cancer. Does anyone feel the bone aching , zero energy from hormone therapy? ( Nupron). Not liking it one bit!!!

I agree with you on the Lupron injection; it really is an energy zapper and life changer.

Some good news. My PSA numbers were so low, ( 0.05), that my Dr. took me off the Lupron for a couple of months. I did get bone strengthening shot though, which has a similar reaction ( Xgeva?).
Anyone want to discuss longevity?

Lupron messes with the hormones so has negative effects on energy. I am glad you have been taken off Lupron, so hopefully that helps with some of the issues. I wish I had experience with the bone strengthening shot, but I do not.

@jonlo11
since I have been off Lupron for almost 2 months, I can feel life slowly returning to me. Tomorrow I do labs, so this might all change, but am enjoying it for now. It’s all about PSA numbers, stay tuned
