Hello everyone,

How are you doing? emoticon bashful

Have you noticed that during stressful situations your psoriasis symptoms become aggravated? 

If you haven't it seen already, we've just published the testimonial of a Carenity French member living with psoriasis. She focused on managing her stress through alternative therapies and medicines! I'll link the article here:

@Courtney_J Thanks for sharing the article, I hadn't seen it yet. Stress affects my psoriasis for sure, and I agree with the lady in the article, I think doctors could stand to take a more holistic approach. I'm not really one for hypnosis  or reiki or herbal remedies or any of that, but I do think that mental health is tied to our health more than we think and we should consider treating the mind as well as the body.

Life is very stressful, and apart from all the stress that surrounds us (work problems, relationships...) there's also the anxiety caused by psoriasis. I stress about my meds, about flare ups, about my ugly skin.. and honestly I don't know what to do about it. I've tried yoga but it's too slow for me and I end up frustrated instead of relaxed. Any ideas?

@Courtney_J Stress is definitely one of my triggers. I also don't go too much for "natural remedies", but I do meditation and watch relaxation videos to help me slow down and manage my stress and it helps me for sure. @havefaithalways try looking for yoga instructors on youtube. I used to also think yoga was slow and boring, but if you find the right teacher and the right kind of yoga it can really be great.
