One of the main complaints of those diagnosed with Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is that the doctor spent little to no time explaining to them their condition, the prognosis, and the plan of care at the appointment where they received their diagnosis or where they were told the findings of the medical studies revealing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.

What has been your experience? Did you have a similar experience or did your doctor explain to you the condition? The plan of care?

@JoyceC Seems to be common for us. Doctors give the diagnosis, medicine, and then you are left to figure out what the condition actually is.

On a most recent ultrasound it showed that I have an enlarged liver now and sludge in my gallbladder. Is this common? Also recent bloodwork showed low blood creatine. The low blood creatine was interesting as I have been having worsening muscle weakness.

The analysts likewise show that this lift in mental forces is related with white matter respectability. To know more about this search "Diet For Reducing A Fatty Liver" on google.

I wasn't even told by my regular internist.  I had to go in for a sinus thing and I'd had some blood work done and the PA I seen told me and nothing else but it's caused by obesity . She said I could get better by losing weight. Well , I'm  considered morbidly obese. It's prob been 4 years since she diagnosed me and i have yet to hear a word from my dr, i see every 3 months,  about it . I haven't asked anything because I thought I had been told the only thing to do about it. Lose weight.  Kind of thought it wasn't that big a deal.  l do get what I call cramps in my right side , right below my ribs. It stays until I can get my body straightened out enough. If that makes sense. I am extremely swollen even with a fluid pill in my stomach. . I am 60 years old and actually had an idiot ask me when I was due and me 56 years old.lol I am preparing, well waiting, on my surgery date and praying it doesn't get postponed due to the new covid scare. I am having gastric bypass surgery the end of Sept.  I have jumped through all the hoops and been approved by my insurance. Dr is already behind because of covid 19. I am hoping my new way of eating and weight loss will help it get better ? I initially started the weight loss because I need back surgery and Dr won't operate until I lose 50 pounds. I have about 100 to 120 pounds to be within my weight category.  So , anyhow , that's my story .
