When is it ok to just quit trying quit living? I am just so fed up with it all, my whole life. My mom was murdered in April of 2024 and my life has been a crap show since and I want nothing more than to go be with her to never be separated again

Hello Ash,

Again, thank you for being honest about how you're feeling. It takes a lot of strength to write something like this after everything you've been through, and it is completely okay to feel worn down, angry, and lost... The grief of losing your mom would be enough to overwhelm anyone. Please know this, you deserve support. You deserve relief. There is help, and you absolutely do not have to carry this pain all by yourself. If you're feeling like you can’t keep going, please talk to someone who can help, whether it’s a counsellor, therapist, or a crisis line. You’re not a burden.

You can call or text:

📞 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – Available 24/7, free and confidential
https://988lifeline.org

You're not alone, and your life DOES matter.

Please take care of yourself,

Somya from the Carenity team
