For a decade, i have no complications or symptoms of asthma. One day, i wake up and suddenly i can’t breath. I had an asthma attack and my parents drove me to the hospital. I don’t want it to come back. Plus, i never had an asthma attack before and it scared me, so on top of that I got an anxiety attack. My whole body way stiff and it took 2 hours for me to be able to move my body again. I still have shortness of breath and i feel like my lung cant get enough air. Why did this happen. Can some help me?

Hi @-richarl-‍ I am sorry you had an asthma attack. Those are scary experiences.

Do you have to use rescue inhalers often? like more than once a monthly?

@-richarl-‍ were you sick? Sickness can definitely attribute to an attack? Or were you around something you were allergic to or outside? What were you doing when you got the attack?

What did they say to you at the hospital? I would think that they would have spoken to you about it.
