Hello Carenity!
This subject is dedicated to the treatment of the disease.
Has a treatment been prescribed for your diabetic nephropathy?
If so, what is this treatment? Do you believe that it is helping?
Any helpful information regarding your treatment?
Have you tried any homeopathic remedies or life modifications?
Have either of these been helpful?
Thank you in advance for sharing your experience!

I have started treatment 4 months ago. I am taking lisinopril (sp?). I feel the treatment has helped! Does anyone have any other treatments or life changes they have done?

I have been using Lyrica for a long time, 200mg 3 times per day. I'm not sure how well it works but my doctor doesn't want to take the chance of putting me on something else and it not work. The balls of my feet feel like little rocks in them when I walk sometimes. But my toes, OMG they hurt all the time especially my middle toes on each foot. Just the sheet at night on my toes just kills them. I use to have a wire thing that would hold the sheet up over my feet. Don't know what ever happen to that. And my feet get really cold so they have to go under the sheet at night whether any other part of my body is covered or not. But here lately my feet don't have a lot of feeling to them. Sometimes if I'm trying to get out of bed I can't tell if there is anything on my feet or not, so I fight with the cover a lot. I would like to try homeopathic remedies or life modifications but I don't anything about them really. Homeopathic stuff I've been interested in but don't know what to look for and I don't know what life modifications is.
