Hello everyone,
How are you today?
As you all know, when diabetes is not managed well it can lead to some serious health consequences, such as kidney damage (nephropathy), heart disease, eye disease, skin infections, and more.
Have you or a loved one experienced any complications due to type 1 diabetes? How are you or they doing today?

@Courtney_J I've been lucky and I haven't had any complications fortunately. My uncle who also has type 1 had some significant kidney issues and some vision problems too, so I think because of that I've been very careful to take care of myself and see my doctor regularly.

@dbtsgoaway Same, I haven't had any yet either, but my mom has high blood pressure so my doctor and I are keeping an eye on it just in case.
