I feel so useless at times, like I can never please myself or anyone else.

Good advisor

I've felt that way often, too. You're useful to me, by sharing I know I'm not alone, thank you!

Good advisor

@MBrown98 Hey MBrown98, I totally understand this. Sometimes my depression is so deep that I don't see the value in me being here. But I know that I have friends and family and people who love me and that I'm useful to them. So please know that you ARE useful and you are wanted.

Loving yourself is just about the hardest thing you can do. Try to focus on loving and pleasing yourself. What others think of you isn't important, you need to put yourself first. Please keep sharing with us on here if it helps!

The person I love most gets dragged along in my depression and I feel like it pushed him away from me

My depression makes me think that my fiance feels sorry for me and I try to hide it so that he dont think I'm a total loser.  I feel this is so wrong of my but dont know how to change it.  Well I know how but afraid to I guess

Good advisor

I'm such a sensitive person that I think it's hard for most people to understand me and accept me. I don't think my SO means to hurt me, it's just my filter that gets in the way.

I spend a lot of time and money trying to understand why I feel the way I do and to me mindful of my emotions in each moment and to keep them from hijacking my mind

I've found that my best days begin with a meditation. There's hundreds on YouTube. However, my favorites are by a long time friend of mine and can be found here:

Of course, this is. Very personal experience and one should find what resonates best for them.

Compassionately, Kevin
