I feel your struggle. I moved to a new state about a year ago. Already struggling with meeting new people and then this covid crisis...well it’s been tough. I don’t want to sound like a crazy cat lady here lol but I just adopted two kittens and I have to say...I know it’s not the same as human interaction, but it really has helped the loneliness a lot. I don’t know if you’re an animal person but maybe a pet would help :)

I have been struggling with being very lonely over the last few months. I have decided to focus on my mental health and doing so I have stopped communicating with all of my core friends. I cannot move forward without removing these friends. I am faced with a loneliness that I accept although it’s very tough at times. I’m hoping to meet new people and grow. With the pandemic i am finding that socializing and making new healthy acquaintances is not really an option. I have been feeling a little better with the participation in online zoom support groups although I hope to eventually meet people that are healthy friends. If anyone has some ideas for me please comment
