I believe time helps but when I talk about my PTSD with my therapist it seems to help a lot by revisiting the past and discussing it with her. She is able to help with the negativity that I’m feeling.

Hi @Myndib‍ - I have the same problem... I feel like I was prone to be depressed... like something just genetically in me. I have always been more to myself and have to force myself to go out, but its like I don't want too... but I do. Hard to explain. Then when I do not go out, I feel depressed the next day like I am loser and did nothing, but stay inside.

But, I have various times in my life that set off a real deep depression, and sometimes those events will play through my mind or even in my dreams... or nightmares, I guess you could say.

I have been trying lately to really analyze my life and outlook... trying to cut the stress out and spend more time on me. Maybe doing that, looking at what makes you happy and getting to know yourself truly, will help.
