Hello everyone, how are you doing?💬

Living with depression can feel like an endless uphill battle. Some people say that with time, experience, therapy, or medication, managing depression can become more intuitive. Others feel that it remains just as difficult, but they get better at recognizing early warning signs or building supportive routines. Like learning to swim in rough waters, some days are easier than others.🌊🏊

👉 Have you found that coping strategies, therapy, or just experience have helped you manage depression better over the years?

👉 Or does it still feel as challenging as when you first started facing it?

👉 In your opinion, what make depression easier or harder to handle over time?

Wow depression where do I start in 73 now and have thought ok I know how to handle depression. Just keep busy to myself and don't feed into anyone else. But there is always a roadblock. When I am doing well someone will notice and just start to wear you down. Get whatever they can from you then start their evil ways. Leaving me to wonder ok what have I done wrong now. But each time has made me a little stronger within myself. I am at that place now where I haven't spoken for 3 days but have told myself it is time for just me. I can afford myself. I can be happy with just myself. I don't have to worry about myself because I am ok.

Many people improve with therapy, medication, and lifestyle changes. But it’s not automatic, you need to actively work on it and adjust as needed.
