Yes, I've had ablation on both lobes of the liver, both done @ City of Hope Duarte. The first one was done as a part of a much larger surgery (they installed a hepatic pump and did some ablation and some liver resection at that time. The second time they went thru my rib and and that one was literally an outpatient procedure . After that one I was tender for a short wile and had just a few stiches thru about a 1 1/2 inch incision. They worked well for me. I had over 41 tumors (radiology stopped counting) when I started, and I do not have any now (at least not in my liver...dealing with the ones in my lung right now). Wishing you the best...
