Hi @Lvbravo A family member of mine had a stress test performed while walking on a treadmill. HE never had any operation done, but was on some medications for some time to lower it... Actually, he takes no meds anymore for it and his resting heart rate is within normal limits.
He stopped drinking, reduced caffeine intake, started a healthy diet - no more processed foods - and also go off of a medication he was taking for depression that supposedly also caused an increased heart rate. He is now on some other med for depression.
Do you know what your doctor said was teh culprit of your high resting heart rate?
