What were the intial or some of the earliest symptoms experienced that prompted you to seek medical advice, which ultimately led to the diagnosis of renal cancer?

I started to experience pain in the side of my abdomen and pain with urine... that was the first signs I experienced. I went to the doctor thinking I had kidney stones because I am still pretty young. The doctor thought that was it was too when he sent me for examination. However, I am lucky that he also ordered blood test in addition to the initial x-ray. He then followed up with a referral when he did not think it was kidney stones because nothing showed in X-ray and the blood tests I guess showed something that he feared was not good... then and that is when my new doctor ordered more tests and I found out it was kidney cancer.
