Hi

I hear allulose is anti-inflammatory and it does not spike blood sugar. I think you can buy it online and it is used in Quest bars (I don’t usually eat these) Has anyone else tried this sweetener? Did you buy it off amazon or at the store? Does it keep your levels low?

Hi @naptnm! How are you today?

Thank you for starting this discussion! Have you mentioned it to your doctor? Maybe they know about it and if it's good or not. I will tag some members who might want to share their thoughts on this topic.

Have you tried Allulose? What artificial sweetener do you usually use? How does it affect your blood sugar levels?

Take care,

I haven't tried allulose. I find that most of the sugar substitutes bother my stomach. And I'm lucky in that I don't have a huge sweet tooth. Bread is my big downfall, LOL! @Polina.K

Hi @HelloKitty! How are you today?

Thank you for your response! Do you substitute bread with something else? Or some specific type of bread that doesn't affect your condition too much?

@Polina.K Bread is a slippery slope for me. I love it so much. So I try to limit it to a couple of times/week. I do find that "brown " bread is so slower to rise my BS than white. Haven't found a good substitute.
