I have had the longest pain in my hips. I thought it would go away but it has been lingering for awhile. Is this chronic pain?

I have chronic pain from Spinal Stenosis and Fibromyalgia and I can barely hold my own anymore, I have to have someone come over and help me, but I'm still happy every day because I use marijuana almost every day instead of opiates. It has done wonders for me as far as my pain because I don't think about it when I'm stoned. I am on anti-depressants but have been on those since I was 37 and I'm 61 now. I think they should legalize medical marijuana at least, in the US for all states. It is a miracle drug for me. Try it sometime.

I have had chronic pain since 2016 and at first I didn't know it was cancer causing it then In the summer of 2017 I found out that was the case so I was immediately put on morphine 30mg and Roxycodone 15 mg in which I hated both considering I had never taken anything but a Tylenol beforehand and so it did help I'm not gonna lie and say it didn't but just not my cup of tea although I was so thankful that my pain had calmed so much and then radiation therapy was real hard to push my way through so it was a blessing during that time as well but now I'm almost 4 years in remission and can proudly say I have taken myself of the morphine it has been almost a year now I'm still on the short acting pain med and I just recovered from a broken femer and broken pelvic and my team of doctor's almost begged me to get back on the morphine but I refused bc I was so proud of myself for taking myself off of it so needless to say I was very very uncomfortable but I'm pretty certain I made the right decision at the end of the day I just took it easy rested and stayed off my leg untill it healed and I made it through just fine ❤️ so with all that being said there are so many different options for pain and healings then just jumping to pain meds I did certain excersisses that help with the pain and Stiffness and therapeutic things that helped alot I feel everyone is in some kind of pain daily it's learning how to deal and manage it that's the tough part I hope this gives someone some hope or insite to this situation 🖤

Yes I have chronic pain in my back due to degenerative disc disease and arthritis, I also have arthritis in my knees. On top of that I do have fibro too. It's hard for me to want to get out of bed, I hate feeling that way! It's hard for me to things around the house etc which is demoralizing. It makes my anxiety and depression worse which is not helpful.

Living with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus isn't easy. The physical parts;an enlarged bread from the fluid and the constant head pressure make doing anything difficult. The mental part of having to go to work or just out In public is tough.Mine is a rare disorder that doesn't qualify for disability and it's frustrating.I've tried applying but got denied.I want to hire a lawyer but too expensive.Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for hearing me out.

@Courtney_J I have chronic lower back pain. I have a hard time dealing with the pain. It makes me so tired and depressed. I have had this for five years. Some days are just too hard to cope with but my doctor sent me to physical therapy after I had a back stimulator operation. Therapy is helping a little so I feel like there is some hope.

I have arthritis in my back and I have seven pins in my leg. And I had a panoramic breaking my face which means from top to bottom every bone was broken; lost my sense of smell and vision in one eye. The weather does aggravate my body, but found out cannabis cookies are very very beneficial and relaxing and brings me peace and no pain.
