Hello everyone,

How are you today? emoticon bashful

Who hasn't heard on countless occasions that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? The idea that this first meal ensures that we have plenty of energy for the entire day has become well ingrained in our minds.

What about you? Are you a breakfast person? What are the benefits to breakfast in your opinion? What do you usually eat?

Let's share together below!

Take care,
Courtney

Every morning I have 3 egg whites to one yolk. 1 chicken link sausage.   1 cup oatmeal. Flatbread made from spinach.  Half cup expresso and 64 oz water

@justjet   I agree with everything you posted except for the coffee. I don't drink coffee, I prefer black tea.

I am doing intermittent fasting and sometimes eat brunch. It might be a breakfast or it could be my one meal a day.

I believe so. Since I cook breakfast daily my glucose is between 98 to 109 daily. My a1c went from 6.2 in December to 5.2 last week.  I have a half cup expresso. One egg either sunny side or scrambled. Chicken sausage link  and 1 slice bacon. And half of spinach flat bread. And half cup oatmeal.  My cholesterol is perfect and blood pressure is good.  Taking a inhibitor now once daily to have pancreas produce its own insulin

@wreed61499 I agree. Just found out that my thyroid is off and I have to take synthroid now. Wondering how that will affect my numbers.

My husband and I are now semi-retired and our breakfast is now fruit and either a hard boiled egg or a cooked egg and hubby is down 48 lbs and I am down only 16 but I need to say I didn't have as much to lose as he did when we started the fruit and 1 egg breakfast. You think you will be starving to death in an hour but it really is not like that. Tony Robbins got us started on the breakfast routine then we head to the guy.
