Have you tried hyaluronic acid injections? What joint did you get it for? Did this treatment help? Generally, what did you think of it?

Anyone with osteoarthritis received hyaluronic acid injections? Although my doctor hasn't suggested it, it sounds like a potential treatment for my knees from what I've read about it. I'd like to hear from anyone who has dealt with it so I can ask my doctor. I'm really having discomfort in my knees.
