I have been on it for about a year, I have lost 12 pounds,it kind of curves your appetite. My insurance does cover it,I am really satisfied with the results of my blood sugar due to this insulin. I would recommend it to anyone who is Type 2!Sometimes I feel nausea, but I have gotten use to it,but it affects each individual differently.

Hey guys! I hope you are having a good day!
What do you think about Ozempic? Have you tried? Does it affect your weight? Does your insurance cover it? Is it true, that it is hard to get now?
Take care,
Polina from the Carenity team

Hi I was on ozempic for type 2 diabetes. It worked so good for me but the side effects were so bad I had to come off of it. I was so fatigued that I could not hardly drag myself out of bed. Also it was effecting my eyes. They began to get very blurry. Within a week of coming Off of the ozempic everything started to get better but the fatigue lingered for several weeks after I quit. I hope this helps. I did loose 12 pounds which is about average. Have a great day

I will ask my doctor about it the next time I go in. I just learned of it because of all the celebrity news. I could do with losing some weight, I am okay if I am a bit nauseous, my other meds make me feel that way anyway. I wonder why my doctor hasn't mentioned it as an option... Does anyone else feel like they withhold information about your disease from you?

I was on ozempic for type 2 and did great on it for awhile. However after being on it for a few months I began to have extreme fatigue. And when I say extreme I mean debilitating fatigue. I had to come off if it and it took me about a month to feel normal again. I did loose about 12 pounds and it did curb my appetite but the side effects were wayyy to much for me. It did become hard to find right at the end also. I hope this helps. My insurance covered some but even with that it was still expensive. Also it began to effect my eye sight everything got so blurry and when I came off of it that cleared up as well
good luck

Hi
I am guilty of following celebrity news, but can I find someone to talk about this ozempic craze!?
I am a diabetic, I have not been prescribed ozempic as a medication (yet!) but I am super curious. Has anyone taken it? Have you lost weight? Does your insurance cover it? Is it hard to get? I heard that there is short supply due to celebrities....
Any news is helpful :)
