Hi my name is June...I have graves disease so go for reg blood work, I asked my Dr to check my A1c it came back 7.1..I told him I wanted to try on my own to bring it down so I went Keto lost 10 lbs and next A1c was 6.5 then.. my last was 5.7..The problem is I'm not losing any more weight I need to lose another 40 lbs will my a1c stay in the normal range without losing more weight?  my next blood work is in February... Also if I add low carb bread 40 calorie a slice once a day or steel cut oats back into my diet will my a1c rise? I haven't had bread or pasta in over a year..I would like to try weight watchers but worried my A1c will rise.. Any help would be appreciated.. TIA

@Hidden username since autoimmune disease attacks the immune system you have to be careful and watch your food intake and make sure people around you are not contagious sick.  The various types of food you eat along with counting your calories can all be a challenge, however you have to stay focus and get as much information on your condition as you can to make it perfect for you,

@Hidden username Hello Junebug,

Is this diet still working for you? I'm so tired of medication and looking for new ways to control my type 2 diabetes. Thank you.
